‘Retrograde’ is the debut single from Maryland born-and-bred musician Brian Lim, aka BINNY, a name derived from the Vietnamese word Trị Bình, which means peace. His first foray into a solo music career is laced with multi-faceted ambition, whether that be to connect his fashion with the music, to write songs influenced by Drake, Lolo Zouai, Celine Dion, Kim Petras and Ariana Grande, or to represent Asian Americans in pop culture.
